TRDC National Weekend 7th-9th July 2023.

TR Drivers Club have been the main organizer of the event for many a year now and Club Triumph have now offered to run this year’s event for members wishing to camp over the weekend and are proud to announce the details of their forthcoming National Event, which will be held alongside the TR8 Day on the Saturday and the BL / BMC Day on the Sunday at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon.

For members wishing to only attend the Sunday BMC day we recommend advance booking that will get you and your passenger into the British Motor Museum on the Sunday, this is especially for members attending with a passenger. Entry for those aged 16 and under is free. The second option is to purchase an annual pass at £14.50 which is per person. Both options are available at the British Motor Museum via their website - https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/whats-on/bmc-leyland-show#bookings.

Whilst the show opens at 10:00am, we strongly suggest that those wishing to just come on the Sunday should plan to arrive no later than 9:00am to allow entry by the deadline. At last year’s event traffic on approaching roads built up significantly after 9:00am, resulting in bad delays for some.

For those wishing to camp in the secure grounds of the British Motor Museum, Gaydon from 7th to 9th July these are the key items.

Friday, 7th July.
Campers start arriving from 4pm, setting up, meeting with old friends and making new ones.

Saturday, 8th July.
TR8 Day - Display of genuine TR8s in the Gaydon car park.
Saturday afternoon road run (poss. pub lunch?).
Evening entertainments including quiz and Music from a live Rock band.

Sunday, 9th July.
BL / BMC Day.

To exhibit your car on the Sunday you need to buy an E-Ticket, from the British Motor Museum site.

For those that are wishing to camp over the weekend then please go the Club Triumph website.
(Members of invited clubs you will need to register an account if not a CT member – this is free) – this will be closed approximately 2 weeks before the event. Unfortunately, they cannot accept "pay on the day" arrangements.

The cost of camping is £50 per adult for the weekend, children under 16 go free. For those not camping, we can offer a Saturday evening ticket to join us for refreshments and entertainment as indicated above for £20 per adult.
